Seascribe Members’ Biographies

We are writers who have banded together to be beta readers for each other’s work and offer ideas and edits. Together, we have a great deal of experience and wisdom to share. We meet twice a month.

Elaine Crigler

Remembering the poems I had published in high school and college I finally returned to my love of writing in retirement. I joined Carteret Writers and won awards for my poetry and short stories.  For the past ten years I’ve had fun leading the Seascribes critique group. Also had “Beating C-diff:a Practical Guide” published in the Intl Journal of Nursing e-zine with over 1000 hits. I’m continuing to write my memoirs before I forget them. Unfortunately, Elaine passed away in October of 2021. We miss her greatly.
